Judy is the newest member to join the Auckland branch in the drafting team. She has over 20 years experience within the engineering and construction industry in China, the Middle East and New Zealand. The second project we are profiling is the Fraser Avenue apartments with NZLiving. We have worked with NZLiving before on 340 Onehunga Mall Apartments providing the structural design for both projects. We spoke to Shane Brealey from NZLiving about the Fraser Avenue Apartments in Northcote.
As part of Green Building Week we profiled ‘The Mangrove Home’ which uses a green roof for sustainable and aesthetic purposes. We asked our civil engineer, Ropru Rangsivek to provide more information about the topic.
As part of the NZ Green Building Week 2019, the first project we are profiling is a two-storey home on Herald Island dubbed ‘The Mangrove home’. Charissa Snijders was the architect and Lautrec provided the structural engineering. We started the project in 2015 and construction was completed this year.

Jacqueline McElhinney from Rapport Communications joined us for the day as part of our annual planning session. She worked with us as a team and individually looking at our personalities and how this impacts our behaviours and interactions. We were also given different tools for communicating with different personality types. The team got a lot out of the session.
