The relocation of the garage, to make room for a new ground-floor bedroom and lounge with direct pool access, and the reworking of the lower level, provided structural challenges as the integrity of the original structure had to be maintained alongside the new structural elements required to allow for the open-plan layout upstairs. 
The result is a stunning, fresh, spacious house with a generous living area boasting panoramic views over the Tamaki Estuary.
