In Part One, we introduced the women who make up our Leadership Group. This week it is all about the men. We have a diverse group with a range of complementary skills and experience which brings balanced perspectives to how we approach our work both externally and internally.
The Leadership Group at Lautrec is made up of seven members: Kevin Brown, Juliet Hyatt Brown, Denis Pino, Jie Wang, Blazenka Rose, Greg Chesson and Aimee Walker. We appreciate the breadth of experiences and insights a diverse team brings to the table.
This is a profile on the women who are part of the Leadership Group at Lautrec.
Peter is the newest member to join our structural team. He joined in February but when the country went into lockdown in March he decided to help out the agricultural industry and go fruit picking. We are so pleased to have Peter back with us.
Judy is the newest member to join the Auckland branch in the drafting team. She has over 20 years experience within the engineering and construction industry in China, the Middle East and New Zealand. She has been based in New Zealand for 10 years and has worked on a variety of projects. We asked her a couple of questions. Welcome to the team Judy!
Consistent with the New Zealand Government’s response, Lautrec is treating this situation as a serious risk to health and safety and will follow all recommendations in relation to every aspect of our operations. As an organisation, Lautrec is committed to…
The second project we are profiling is the Fraser Avenue apartments with NZLiving. We have worked with NZLiving before on 340 Onehunga Mall Apartments providing the structural design for both projects. We spoke to Shane Brealey from NZLiving about the Fraser Avenue Apartments in Northcote.
As part of Green Building Week we profiled ‘The Mangrove Home’ which uses a green roof for sustainable and aesthetic purposes. We asked our civil engineer, Ropru Rangsivek to provide more information about the topic.
As part of the NZ Green Building Week 2019, the first project we are profiling is a two-storey home on Herald Island dubbed ‘The Mangrove home’. Charissa Snijders was the architect and Lautrec provided the structural engineering. We started the project in 2015 and construction was completed this year.
23rd September to 29th September is World Green Building Week.
